Membership Questions

  • Will there continue to be virtual class offerings?

Absolutely yes, there has been great success with the virtual class offering through lockdown so we decided to continue by offering our new Tribal Online Timetable going forwards. The product will be delivered as part of the Tribal Health & Performance membership but also sold as a Tribal Online Timetable membership only. With many still working from home, managing child care through the summer or continuing to feel anxiety regarding visiting training facilities we felt it was best to offer a flexible service.

  • What changes can I expect in the changing rooms?

Whilst our shower facilities and lockers remain open, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to arrive gym ready where possible and to minimise time in the reception and changing areas to minimise contact.

  • Is water available from the fridge?

Yes, water remains available from the fridge. Please bring a pound to pay the pig.

Safety Questions

  • What is the club’s mask policy?

Based on the government guidelines. Face masks will not be mandatory for staff or users. Please ensure nobody works out face to face with other users or coaches.

  • Are you providing towels or should I bring my own?

Because of the carrying capacity of personal gym towels, they have been replaced by extra blue roll, feel free to use as much as needed and in conjunction with the anti-bacterial spray when wiping down kit after use.

  • Will my temperature be taken when I arrive at the club?

Yes, as well as filling out our track and trace form with entry time and exit time, we will ask you to take and record a temperature reading, if 38 or more, we will ask you to leave missing your session. The same applies for any of the common symptoms of COVID-19

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms.

  • How will equipment be spaced?

We will be limiting gym floor based training athletes to 4, the facility is 1000sq ft and governement guidelines determine we have to limit to 100sq ft per person. We feel that being on the conservative side of this guideline is prudent and the responsible thing to do.

On top of this 4, the pool may well be used and coaches may be present. As a maximum number of bodies in the facility we will cap at 7. 2 x watt bikes have been removed, treadmills have been turned around to face the wall and a dividing screen added, the square gym floof space has been divided in 4 equal training spaces, please maintain social distancing of 2 metres in the facility.

  • How will class capacity vary?

We will be welcoming members into the facility for classes and running them in a duel fashion between virtual and live, each class has a different capacity and live slots can be booked via the Fit4ForTheFight application.

Live Slots:

Tribal Function Dailies 3

Tribal MetCon Squad 3

Tribal Movement Squad 3

Zwift Meet Up 1

Cleaning Questions

  • How often will equipment be sanitised?

We will be performing a whole facility clean 2 x a day and ask each member to clean any kit that you have come into contact with immediately post use. We will be repeating the cleaning of used kit in between each session.

  • Will there be hand sanitiser available?

Yes, 2 new automatic handsanitiser units have been installed, provision of blue roll and anti-bacterial spray has also been increased.

  • What kind of ventilation safety measures will be taken?

With capacity measures in place we will be monitoring the air flow to stay in line with guidelines of 20 litres/per person/per second at all times. Please expect windows to open and fans to be running to increase the ventillation of the space. Further investigation is being made into long term developments of our ventillation from the pool and gym areas.

  • What cleaning protocols will be used in the pool?

The dry area of the pool will be cleaned 2 x a day and post any use. The same 3 x a day chlorine and pH check will continue and we will be managing the chlorine levels between 1-3ppm and pH at 7.2.

New Policy Questions

  • Will you have a reservation system for onsite visits and classes?

Please download the Fit4ForTheFight app, sign up and search Tribal to be able to book as a member for classes.

Paul, Maddie, Jill, Charlotte and Vikki will be managing personal bookings with direct contact to them.

  • What will happen if a club member or staff tests positive for COVID-19?

In the case of a member or staff member testing positive for COVID-19 we will communicate directly with anybody that they have had face to face contact with in the previous 21 days and encourage those people to get a test. The staff member or member will be instructed to self isolate for the next 14 days.
